  • 1. Can I download music without registering? What is registration for?

    You need to register before you can download music from SoundsBox.com. Registration is the basis for the site's personalized services. By signing up, each individual user can access his/her personal sections, such as Basket, Statistics, Assistance, etc. To register, simply complete an online form and choose a username and password. A real email address is essential for completing your registration, as we use this address to send you a registration confirmation link.

    Every new user receives a $0.30 bonus to his/her account upon confirming the email address mentioned during registration.

  • 2. I'm a registered user, but the site is telling me I'm not authorized. What should I do?

    You must log in when you start a new session. Please enter your username and password at the upper right corner of a page.

  • 3. I enter my login and password, but the system doesn't authorized me. Why?

    You may have disabled the cookies in your browser:

    You can enable cookies by going into 'Internet options' in your browser and clicking on 'Privacy' to change your settings (procedures may differ depending on which browser you use).

    It is also possible that your proxy server caches Internet pages "too efficiently." Check the settings or refer to your system administrator or ISP technical support.

    Please note: If you don't use the site for more than two hours, you'll log out automatically and you'll need to log in again.

  • 4. What methods of payment are accepted? How can I add to my balance?

    You need to register at SoundsBox.com first to be able to add to your balance. Then you can choose a payment method in the Balance section. For example, if you want to pay with a credit or debit card you should choose this as a payment method then specify the card type and payment sum. The money is added immediately upon card authorization. Note! The minumum one-time payment by credit card for the service is $15.

    Credit card refund policy:

    If for some reason the site is unable to provide you the service, you will be refunded the remainder of your balance within 7 business days after you apply for such refund.

    The price of the files that you download is $0.14/Song and if you buy complete album you get 20% discount on it.

  • 6. Does SoundsBox.com have gift certificates? If so, how do I purchase one and use it?

    Yes, SoundsBox.com does offer gift certificates. The SoundsBox.com gift certificate is an "electronic banknote" issued by SoundsBox.com. You may purchase such SoundsBox.com gift certificate for yourself or as a gift to a friend and use it afterwards to download music at SoundsBox.com.

    To buy and send a gift certificate:

    • go to the Balance section and click on "Purchase a gift certificate";
    • pay for your gift certificate; in the Balance you will see your purchised Certificate;
    • to send this Certificate to your friend, click on the link "Make a Gift";
    • compose your personal message and click on Make Gift button;
    • send the appeared link to your friend or enter recipient's e-mail and send the Certificate

    To use your gift certificate:

    • sign up, if you are not a registered user
    • log in on the site and go to the Balance section
    • go to the link that you've received by e-mail;
    • press the "Activate Certificate" button; Or
    • go to the Balance section, press the "Refill Balance" button, choose Gift Certificate as method of payment;
    • at Claim Page enter Claim number of your received Certificate.

    You can buy a Gift Certificate only by following the procedure described above. It is not possible to buy a Certificate in any other way neither by using the money on your account.

  • 7. Are there any restrictions for credit card use?

    We do not accept American Express, Cirrus, Union Card.

    It is not allowed to pay with someone else's card. For transaction security reasons we may ask the cardholder for additional credit card or billing information.

  • 9. I have a credit card, but am uneasy about using it online.

    All online credit card payments to our site are made through credit card transaction processing systems that are well-known and secure. You will be offered to learn more about those systems before you make a payment.

  • 10. How do I find an artist/album/song in the SoundsBox catalogue?

    Look for music using our search system or browse through the catalogue in alphabetical order . You can also check out album and single charts (USA, UK, France, and Germany) or our bestsellers page . There's also a special Just ADDED section where you can find the complete list of recently added hot albums.

  • 11. Can I listen to songs before I order them?

    Any track from our catalogue is available for preview in low-quality format before you order it. This service is free of charge.

  • 12. I'm looking for a certain album and cannot find it in your database or on the Internet. Could you please add it your database?

    We do our best to provide our users with the largest catalogue possible. As a rule, we find requests from users to add some particular music helpful but cannot promise to add it the very next day.

  • 13. Do you apply limitations on download speed or file quantity?

    There are no download speed limitations and no restrictions on the quantity of files downloaded per day.

  • 14. I've lost all of my files due to a hard disk malfunction/crash. Is it possible to re-download ordered files at SoundsBox?

    While we sympathize with your situation, we do not provide this sort of recovery service. If you have not ensured your own backup in a situation like this and wish to restore your SoundsBox.com files, you are required to reorder them and pay again.

  • 15. I want to change my personal information (e-mail, city, surname). How can I do this?

    Your personal information like your name, surname, log-in, e-mail address, etc. is displayed and can be changed in the Preferences section. The changes come into force when you log in next time.

    In the Preferences section you can subscribe to the SoundsBox.com newsletter and alerts about the balance status. It is possible to set 2 separate e-mail addresses for the newsletter and balance alerts.
